Recipe for Strawberry Jam in the Breadmachine

Strawberry Jam in the Breadmachine

1 pound bag of unsweetened, frozen strawberries
2.5 T. low-sugar fruit pectin (Surejell in the pink box)
2 c. sugar
1 t. butter
1 t. lemon juice.

Thaw the strawberries. Mash them with a potato masher. Mix in the other ingredients. Pour into bread machine pan. Cook on your bread machine's jam cycle. This recipe will mostly fill a 32-ounce jar.

When finished, pour into jar and store in the refrigerator.
