I read this book when my oldest children were toddlers. At that time, we were still in the obedience training phase of parenthood. I knew at the time that it was a fabulous book. Now that we are well into the heart-training phase of parenthood, this book is back on my reading stack.

The Common Sense Mom is a freelance writer wannabe and computer geek living in Illinois. I am married to a computer geek, but he gets paid to be one. We have 4 children, and I am privileged to be their stay-at-home mom. I am also their school teacher because they are home educated. We thank God for what they have each added to our family. In this season of our lives, parenting is what we do almost all of the time.
