Rainbow is a great organization for girls who are looking for a place to:

Have fun        Make friends        Gain self-confidence

Learn to lead          Make a difference

Have Fun

Rainbow is fun!  We plan all kinds of activities.  We've done everything from after meeting scavenger hunts to bowling or ice skating parties, to trips to amusement parks.  We've had kidnap breakfasts, mystery rides, trips to the mall, whale watches, and sleep over parties.  We also have fun at our meetings, fund-raisers, and service projects.

Make Friends

Rainbow is all about friendship.  When you join Rainbow, you join a family of sisters who are there for you when you need them.  Many Rainbow girls travel to visit other assemblies in their own State, and in other States and countries.  They are always met with warm smiles and friendly welcomes. Many Rainbow girls make meaningful friendships that last a lifetime.

Gain Self-Confidence

Rainbow will provide you with special opportunities to learn self-confidence and public speaking skills.  Even shy girls learn to become comfortable presenting speeches from memory and talking about their recent plans and activities at meetings.  As a Rainbow Girl, you'll learn to feel confident about how you present yourself in front of people.

Learn to Lead

Leadership is one of the most important skills you can learn.  In Rainbow you can learn to be a leader a little bit at a time.  With the help of adult advisors and older girls, Rainbow girls learn to plan and run their own fun activities, fund-raisers, and service projects.  The experience gained in Rainbow can help you later on as you lead activities at school, at home, at church, and at work.

Make a Difference

Rainbow can help you make a real difference in your community.  Each term, our Worthy Advisor selects a service project for the Assembly.  Whether it means participating in the Walk-for-Hunger, making lap quilts for nursing home residents, supporting the Shriners' Hospitals, collecting food for Thanksgiving baskets, or collecting teddy bears for local police to give to traumatized children, there are always many ways for Rainbow Girls to help make a difference.
