Concord Assembly is actively
seeking new members! Come join other girls as a member of
our Assembly. You'll have fun, make new friends, gain self-confidence,
learn to lead, and make a difference in your community.
Applying
for Membership
Its easy to apply for membership
in Concord Assembly. Just ask for an application or "petition"
from any Rainbow Girl or Advisory Board Member, or contact the
Mother Advisor at debbiekenny@comcast.net.
Once you return your completed petition with your parent's signature,
we will set up an appointment for you and your parents to meet
some members of the Assembly and ask any questions you may have.
Then the assembly will vote on your membership petition.
Your
Membership Ceremony
Once you are elected as a
member, the Assembly will hold a beautiful membership ceremony,
or "initiation" for you. In this ceremony you
will learn meaningful lessons about Faith, Hope, Charity, Love,
Religion, Nature, Immortality, Fidelity, Patriotism, and Service
as well as about your responsibilities to your home, church, school,
and Rainbow Assembly. After the ceremony, you will be eligible
to participate in all Rainbow meetings, activities, and ceremonies.
Becoming
an Officer
After your membership ceremony,
you may want to become an Assembly officer so that you can help
plan and run the meetings and ceremonies. There are many
types of offices
that will give you the opportunity to learn public speaking and
leadership.
