A long time ago in a galaxy far, far away...

16 months old: March - April 2006

"We love to play with the blocks!  We both like to stack them and build with them and Heather likes to sit in the box after we've dumped the blocks out."

"Do you think we'll be musicians?  We LOVE to play the piano!  Grandpa has one, too, and it's so neat.  It plays different instrument sounds and has lots of buttons to push.  Mom just couldn't decide which picture to include so she put them all up.  She's so happy we enjoy the piano!"

"I like sitting on the edge of the stairs and window and I know how the remote control works.  Connor likes to play the recorder."

17 months old: April - May 2006

"Easter was nice.  We got all dressed up for church.  My pretty dress was from Aunt Kelly and Uncle Steve for Christmas.  Grandma Sandra gave Connor his suit.  They are too big for us right now, but they still look nice.  Mommy was happy that Grandma and Grandpa gave us a ball and a book instead of candy to make her fat.  (Those were mommy's words, not mine!)  "

"We're really getting into a lot these days.  We like to hang over the edge of the floor and make Mommy think we're going to fall through!  We take all the pans out of the drawer and then get in the drawer!  It's fun!  We use the spices as blocks and build things with them.  And one day we put all the blocks through the cat door.  It was fun to see Mommy laugh when she opened the door and found them!"

"We had a fun time with Aunt Kelly and Uncle Steve when they came to visit.  They brought us these monkeys that hang on our necks!  We love to be together.  Sometimes we snuggle and we play together all the time."

"We love to visit with Grandma Bonnie and Uncle Bud, Aunt Kris and all our cousins.  We have so much fun playing with them.  We really liked this airplane see-saw so they gave it to us!  How nice of them!  We don't get to visit Grandma Bonnie as much as we would like so Mommy shows us this picture of all"

18 months old: May - June 2006

"We went to Arizona for a week.  We had so much fun!  We stayed with Aunt Laura and Uncle Tony and just made a mess of their beautiful house!  We enjoyed sitting at the table and playing with the toys Aunt Laura gave us.  Mommy and Daddy brought some toys from home, but we liked playing with things around the house better.  Cups, cans, bowls, anything we could get our hands on!"

"We visited with Aunt Janet, Uncle Adam and our newest cousin Owen.  Connor liked the dog, Baxter, but I really liked Owen.  I'd love to have a little brother!  I thought it was fun to get in Owen's carseat."

"I just love to empty out boxes.  This box was full of toys so I took them all out and put them on the floor.  I liked to play with the dogs, too.  Harley was really fun, he liked me, too."

"We went swimming a lot while we were in AZ.  We had so much fun!  Connor liked it a little more than I did."

"We ditched our high chairs after our trip.  We didn't use them all week and now we like to sit at the table so we got booster seats.  It's much more fun to eat at the table.  And Heather has discovered the cat house.  She keeps trying to climb into it."

"We had fun at Aunt Cathy and Uncle Mike's on Memorial Day.  We had a BBQ and played on the trampoline!"

"Here's our 18 month portrait.  We didn't want to co-operate this time.  This is the best Mommy could get."
