52 weeks old: December 10, 2005 - Our First Birthday!
"Mommy made two chocolate cakes. Daddy helped her decorate them with whipped cream frosting. She must have been tired when she wrote Heather's name... she forgot an 'h' and never even noticed until someone saw this picture on the site! Oh well. We were excited to eat our first bite of chocolate! As you can see from the pictures, we enjoyed it very much!"
"One more piece, please!"
"Ormm, this cake, ormm, ormm, is sooo ryummy!"
"After we ate cake we got to open our gifts. That was so much fun! I think Mommy had more fun doing the actual opening then we did, though."
"We were so surprised to get so many nice things! We told everyone not to bring gifts, but nobody listened. Thank you to you all! You are so generous! You spoil us!"
"I had a good time reading this book while riding on the car. I'm already a multi-tasker!"
"After a couple of hours of all this excitement we started getting very tired. We settled down with a nice cold cup of milk (the real stuff now, no more formula) and then went down for our nap."
Christmas 2005
"We went to Grandma and Grandpa's house on Christmas Eve. We had lots of fun there. Grandma got these cute ones of us laughing and making faces at the camera!"
"I got to open some of my presents first because Connor needed a nap. Daddy had to help me with this one."
"I didn't sleep for long, I was missing all the fun! Daddy helped me open my presents, too."
"We had so much fun playing with new toys and the boxes and wrapping paper!"
"Grandma Sandra got us these cute Christmas outfits. We love them and Mommy thinks we look adorable in them."
"I think I want to learn to play football. I practiced in front of the Christmas tree."
"I hope I get to help decorate the tree next year."
"Here I am with Grandma and Grandpa. Connor was taking his nap, but I just wanted to get to the presents!"
"It's time for bed. What a great Christmas! Can't wait for next year!"
13 months old: December 2005 - January 2006!
"We got our hands on Mommy's cherry sticks. They were yummy! Connor mostly licked the chocolate from his but I stuffed a whole one in my mouth!"
"I love to crawl, even if there is a table in my way."
"Mommy likes to get pictures of us in our Sunday clothes, but it's hard. Heather and I are usually pretty hungry and tired when we get home and we don't always co-operate."
"I LOVE to walk with our car! I still have no desire to walk without it, though. But I can even run if I'm pushing the car around. I just go back a forth across the room. Sometimes I stop to push the music buttons."
"I LOVE milk! And I LOVE to walk around! I love them both so much I have to do them at the same time so I don't have to choose between them!"
"Heather just loves to look at books. She's not interested in biting her toys like I am. And when Daddy comes home she peeks out the cat door to see him!"
"Daddy took these pictures of us with Mommy. She couldn't decide which one to put up so she chose three. Next time we need to get a picture with Daddy!"
