I use a linear tracking turntable, a low noise preamp, and
a Yamaha soundcard to have a low noise analog-to-digital
(A-D) convertion. Your music is then passed through special
software to remove most of the static and crackle on your
record. The music is then sliced on CD sector boundaries
and then written to disk in the DISK-AT-ONCE mode to
create a CD that plays seamlessly.
