IMPORTANT INFORMATION!!!

2010 Tim Cook Track & Field Invitational 

• Plan to arrive between 7:30-8:30.  Buses should use the upper parking lot (home side of the stadium) for drop-off.  All coaches and competitors should enter via the upper parking lot gate.  Fans should be instructed to park in the Stanley lot along McKinley Street and enter the gate nearest to the visiting concession stand.

• Admission is $5 per adult and $3 per student.  Only the visiting side stands will be used during the meet.  Please inform parents to park in the Stanley parking lot along McKinley street.

• Tents may be placed on the courtyard area between the cafeteria and track.

• Concessions will be available as will meet t-shirts ($10).

• Complimentary meet programs will be available at the gate.  The program will contain meet records, the event schedule, and a tribute to Coach Cook.

• Please help us keep the infield traffic to a minimum!  The check-in area will be at the center of the infield for all track events.  Please ask your athletes to cheer from the stands or the fence.

• Awards as follows:  gold medal to winner of event, ribbons to places 2-6.  A plaque will be awarded to the outstanding male and female athlete.

• The Tim Cook Track & Field Invitational is a non-scoring meet.

• You may enter a maximum of 2 competitors per individual event.  Schools should only enter one relay team in any of the relay events.

• All entries must be sent using an Excel spreadsheet.  The entry data will be exported from the Excel program to Hy-Tek software.  No meet day additions will be accepted!  Scratches only on meet day.

• If it is possible to start a track event before the scheduled time we will do so.  The only exception is the 1600m run.  It will start at the scheduled time to ensure that our officials and meet help get a short lunch break!

• All track events will be girls followed by boys.

• FAT will be used for all track events!
