My name is Corie. I am 9 years old and I know that too many people are hungry in this world and there is something we can do about it. I may be small, but I know I can make a difference!

On December 15, 2007, I had a solo swim-a-thon. My goal was to swim at least 50 laps (.7 miles) and to raise at least $5,000 towards the purchase of an "ark" through Heifer International.

I exceeded my swimming goal by swimming 64 laps (9/10 of a mile!). But I still need help getting to my final goal of $5000.
