I learned cucinare Italiano while living with a family in Siena, but having since lived on the cusp of Koreatown and the Byzantine-Latino Quarter of Los Angeles my cooking has taken on new flavors. While in New Zealand I learned how to bake a decent scone and avoid Vegemite and Pavlova. Now my Puerto Rican flatmate is trading secrets with me. Please send me your favorite recipe! |
I am drawn to mountains. I think it's the German half of
me, the blood of my Grosseltern who met on a skiing holiday in the Alps. The
Sierras are near and dear to my heart, but having moved around quite a bit in
the past few years, I've discovered it doesn't take me long to search out the
highest point and scramble my way up for a look-see.
