1. Pave Driveway

Pave the driveway we share with 532 Lowell St.

Pave existing 11 ft. wide driveway, along existing alignment

Hay bales siltation barrier will be used to protect wetlands during paving

Almost all the length of the driveway is within 100 ft. wetland buffer zone

Grade of existing driveway is a gentle slope from the street down to the house.

Estimated change in elevation is approximately 3 feet fall in first 100 feet from the street, and another 3 to 4 foot drop in the remaining 270 feet to end of driveway.

2. Remove Trees That Are Too Close to the House

1.      10” Maple                                      Side of House

2.      Pine Cluster: 18”, 9”, 8”, 8”            New Backyard Area

3.      10” Oak                                         New Backyard Area

4.      Pair of Maples: 10”, 7”                   New Backyard Area

These trees are all within the 100’ buffer zone.

Biggest of the lot is the Pine Cluster: 4 trunks coming out of a common base, approximately 75 ft. tall.

Biggest Pine trunk will be cut into 16 foot sections, to form 16’ 4”x10” beams, to be used in construction of treehouse between two large Oaks, within New Backyard Area.

3. Clear, Fill, Plant in New Backyard Area

New backyard area will be approximately 60’ by 25’.

Area is directly behind house, to the property line.

Will be cleared of Poison Ivy and some of the other brush.

Some fill will be used to raise and level the area,

Grass will be planted, some other landscape plantings.

Hay bales siltation barrier will be used to protect wetlands during project.
