Paul and his mom

Paul's mom came to town this month and I joined the two of them for dinner at Ivar's Salmon House, something of a Seattle dining icon which happens to be three blocks from my house in the shadow of I-5 (literally, the freeway is carried across Lake Union on a cantilever bridge about 300 feet above). Here's a shot of them on Ivar's outside deck with the Seattle skyline in the background.
