Kerry Cox is a Seattle poet who spent 7 years in New Orleans writing and performing poetry. Her poems have been accepted for publication in Journeys and INK, online whispers & [Shouts] and and received Honorable Mention in Anthology magazine's annual poetry contest. Kerry has self-published two of her own works: Rainbow Karma and A Month of Sundays. A member of the Washington Poet's Association, Kerry is working on her latest book of poetry, Imagined Histories. Last spring, Kerry traveled to Australia where she spent time in a studio with local musicians recording a CD of spoken word tracks to be included with the new book. Kerry is currently pursuing a career as a Poetry Therapist. In addition to her workshop Poetry as Medicine earlier this year, she has offered Letters from Venus, a poetry workshop/open mic for women.
