This project may be completed individually or in pairs.

1. Select a person, a place, or a battle that you learned about on this site.

2. Return to the page and links for your selection to take notes.

3. If you have selected a person, include the following information:

name of the person

where the person came from

major contributions to the American Revolution

other achievements important to colonial life or government

4. If you have selected a place, include the following information:

name of the place

where the place is located

what happened at that place

how did what happened there contribute to the American Revolution

5. If you have selected a battle, include the following information:

the name of the battle

where the battle took place

the military leaders involved for each side

important facts about the battle

what the battle accomplished during the colonial struggle for independence

6. Use your notes to write a summary.

7. Trace the smaller model of a foot on white lined paper so the lines are horizontal. Copy your summary in pen on this shape.

8 Trace the larger model of a foot on construction paper and neatly glue on your summary.

9. Be prepared to present your information to the class.
