SUBSTITUTE MANIA

Substitute Mania This is a single elimination Substitute Mania style tournament, which allows Players in the tournament to ask for a substitute Player to play one of their games during their match play. The catch though is, if a Player does elect to have a "substitute" Player play one of their games, then the score the "substitute" Player receives doubled before being added to the cumulative score of the tournament Player who requested the "substitute" Player. Example of scoring: Player A and Player B are playing their 3 games for their match. Player A elects to use a "substitute" Player for the 3rd game of the match. The "substitute" Player then plays that game with both Player A and Player B watching the game. The "substitute" Player's score is then doubled and added to the cumulative score Player A has already achieved. The Player with the highest total cumulative score after all games have been played is declared the winner. Any substitute Player must be free to play at the time asked! The Player can be anyone who is available to play the game at that point in time, except hosting TD. If it is a Player who happens to also be in the tournament, then that Player cannot be playing a match of their own at the same time they are selected. This will only hold the tournament up if you have to wait for them to finish their match first before they can play the "substitute" match for you. A different "substitute" Player must then be selected, or original Player must play their own game themselves and not use a substitute. All rounds will consist of 3 games each, including the Finals. Always make sure your Opponent has entered your room before beginning your game. If you start before your Opponent enters your room, you must restart your game. If you were not in an Opponent's room before they started their game, you must notify them before they finish and post their score for that game. If you do not notify your Opponent before they have posted their score, then that posted score will stand and they will not have to re-start their game. Once tourney starts, Players will have 5 minutes to begin their first game. No-shows will be reported as a loss. Player listed on top of bracket starts first. ALL scores are to be announced and acknowledged in chat by everyone playing in the tourney. All losses are to be reported on TOURNEY PAGE ONLY!! If you have to type in a name, you are reporting on the wrong page! Immediately request assistance from the hosting TD. If a Player is in the middle of a game and gets disconnected from Hermanubis for any reason, then that Player must start their game over. Unless INVITED by their opponent to do otherwise. If a Player was disconnected and has to reboot, they will have 8 minutes (no ping) or 3 minutes (ping present AND delaying the match) to return to Hemanubis. Multiple reboots may result in disqualification from tournament play and a loss being posted for that Player at the discretion of the Tournament Director. While playing your game, if your OPPONENT is booted - you must halt play immediately and contact the hosting TD, who will then verify your score. Failure to do so will result in replay of your game. No Player is allowed to play in a league match while playing in the tournament. Any Player found doing so will be disqualified from the tournament immediately! There will be no exceptions to the above rule as this is also a part of Case's rules for all leaguers. You must either halt your league play at the end of the present game being played when tournament starts and keep scores to the side or withdraw from tournament to continue with league match. GOOD LUCK and HAVE FUN!!!
