<TABLE WIDTH=77% CELLPADDING=3 CELLSPACING=3 BORDER=5 align=center> <TR><TD bgcolor= #36648B><center>MidTown Rules - Standard 2/3 Double Low!!</TR> <TR><TD bgcolor=black> This is a single elimination Doubling the Lows style tournament! This style is for all those Players who enjoy a quick, yet still challenging, bit of tournament match play that will allow you one more chance to raise your score. In this style tournament, all Players will double their lowest score before adding all scores together to find their total cumulative score. <ul>Example of scoring</ul> <ul type="disc"><li>TD has decided that all Players will play 2 games each and 3 in Finals. <li>While alternating play, Player 1 and Player 2 play all their games <li> Player 1 finishes playing their games and ends with the following scores: 1,150 and 11,050. <li>Player 1 now doubles their lowest score: 1,150 x 2 = 2,300. <li>Player 1 now adds all their scores together: 2,300 + 11,050 = 13,350. <li>Player 1's final cumulative score would then be: 13,350. <li>Player 2 has finished playing all their games and ends with the following scores: 2,150 and 7,050. <li>Player 2 now doubles their lowest score: 2,150 x 2 = 4,300. <li>Player 2 now adds all their scores together: 4,300 + 7,050 = 11,350. <li>Player 2's final cumulative score would then be: 11,350. <li>Player 1 would be declared the winner and advanced.</ul></ul> <li>All rounds will consist of 2 games each, with the exception of the Final round. <li>Final Round will be 3 games each. <li>Always make sure your Opponent has entered your room before beginning your game. If you start before your Opponent enters your room, you must restart your game. <li>If you were not in an Opponent's room before they started their game, you must notify them before they finish and post their score for that game. If you do not notify your Opponent before they have posted their score, then that posted score will stand and they will not have to re-start their game. <li>Once tourney starts, Players will have 5 minutes to begin their first game. No-shows will be reported as a loss. <li>Player listed on top of bracket starts first. <li>ALL scores are to be announced and acknowledged in chat by everyone playing in the tourney. <li>All losses are to be reported on TOURNEY PAGE ONLY!! If you have to type in a name, you are reporting on the wrong page! Immediately request assistance from the hosting TD. <li>If a Player is in the middle of a game and gets disconnected from Hermanubis for any reason, then that Player must start their game over. Unless INVITED by their opponent to do otherwise. <li>If a Player was disconnected and has to reboot, they will have 8 minutes to return to Hermanubis. Multiple reboots may result in disqualification from tournament play and a loss being posted for that Player at the discretion of the Tournament Director. <li>While playing your game, if your OPPONENT is booted - you must halt play immediately and contact the hosting TD, who will then verify your score. Failure to do so will result in replay of your game. <li>No Player is allowed to play in a league match while playing in the tournament. Any Player found doing so will be disqualified from the tournament immediately!! <li>There will be no exceptions to the above rule as this is also a part of Case's rules for all leaguers. You must either halt your league play at the end of the present game being played when tournament starts and keep scores to the side or withdraw from tournament to continue with league match. <center>GOOD LUCK TOWNIES!</center> </TR> </TABLE>
