MidTown Rules - 7 Heaven! This is a single elimination 7 Heaven style tournament. Here you get to play 3 games each...AND...we're counting the number of seven (or larger) card runs. A player receives a bonus of 5000 points for every 7 card run!! Will you be the one with the most? OR, will your opponent take you to task. Only your dealer really knows... During this tournament, you will be posting the number of Seven Card (or larger) Runs.....AND adding 5k for each to your score. Each player must wait for their opponent to verify posting of the run. Failure to do so may cause you to be disqualified from the tournament. Example of scoring: 7 thru 13 card run earns a 5,000 point bonus. 14 thru 20 card run earns an additional 5,000 point bonus. (totaling 10,000 points for entire run) 21 thru 27 card run earns an additional 5,000 point bonus. (totaling 15,000 points for the entire run) 28 card run or higher wins the match outright! Only post your run in chat AFTER you've come to the end of the run, no matter how long it is. TD has determined everyone will play 3 games. Player 1 is playing their first game....they hit a run of 7 and post it in chat (1 run). Player 2 verifies it. Player 1 continues and hits another run of 7 and posts it in chat (2 runs). At the end of their game, player 1 has a bonus of 2 runs or (2 x 5000) and adds that 10k to the original score. Player 2 is playing their first game....they hit a run of 7 and post it in chat (1 run). Player 1 verifies it, and they continue. Player 2 adds the 5k bonus to their original score. Play would now continue with each player posting seven card runs in chat. Every additional 7 cards added to a run counts as another bonus run for an additional 5,000 points. See Scoring list above. After all 3 games...the score is added....and highest point total wins!! All rounds will consist of 3 games each, including the Finals. Always make sure your Opponent has entered your room before beginning your game. If you start before your Opponent enters your room, you must restart your game. If you were not in an Opponent's room before they started their game, you must notify them before they finish and post their score for that game. If you do not notify your Opponent before they have posted their score, then that posted score will stand and they will not have to re-start their game. Once tourney starts, Players will have 5 minutes to begin their first game. No-shows will be reported as a loss. Player listed on top of bracket starts first. ALL scores are to be announced and acknowledged in chat by everyone playing in the tourney. Failure to do so may be cause for removal from tournament. All losses are to be reported on TOURNEY PAGE ONLY!! If you have to type in a name, you are reporting on the wrong page! Immediately request assistance from the hosting TD. If a Player is in the middle of a game and gets disconnected from Hemanubis for any reason, then that Player must start their game over. Unless INVITED by their opponent to do otherwise. If a Player was disconnected and has to reboot, they will have 8 minutes (no ping) or 3 minutes (ping present AND delaying the match) to return to Hemanubis. Multiple reboots may result in disqualification from tournament play and a loss being posted for that Player at the discretion of the Tournament Director. While playing your game, if your OPPONENT is booted - you must halt play immediately and contact the hosting TD, who will then verify your score. Failure to do so will result in replay of your game. No Player is allowed to play in a league match while playing in the tournament. Any Player found doing so will be disqualified from the tournament immediately!! There will be no exceptions to the above rule as this is also a part of Case's rules for all leaguers. You must either halt your league play at the end of the present game being played when tournament starts and keep scores to the side or withdraw from tournament to continue with league match. GOOD LUCK TOWNIES!
