Capy's Folly! This is a single elimination "Capy's Folly" style tournament. In this particular style tournament, your Opponent will get a chance to scratch a score of yours totally off the record books!!! After a Player has posted their score in chat, their Opponent will have an opportunity to either say Keep it or Scratch it for that particular score. An Opponent may only use the Scratch it option once during the course of each match, thus leaving only 3 games per Player for their total cumulative scores. Examples of scoring: Player 1 finishes their game and posts a score of 4,050 in chat. Player 2 now has the option of either calling "Keep it" or "Scratch it" in chat for that particular score. Player 2 decides Player 1 should "Keep" score posted. Player 1 would continue playing their games, while alternating play with Player 2, until one of their games has been "Scratched" by Player 2. Should none of Player 1's first 3 games be scratch, Player 1 would not have to play their 4th game, as this would then become the "scratched" game for that match play. Player 2 plays their first game and posts a score of 2,050 in chat after finishing. Player 1 decides Player 2 should "Scratch" that score. Player 2 now knows that all 3 of their remaining games will be added together for their total cumulative score. Player with highest total cumulative score will be declared winner and be advanced. All rounds will consist of 4 games of alternating play as described and posted above, including Final Round. Always make sure your Opponent has entered your room before beginning your game. If you start before your Opponent enters your room, you must restart your game. If you were not in an Opponent's room before they started their game, you must notify them before they finish and post their score for that game. If you do not notify your Opponent before they have posted their score, then that posted score will stand and they will not have to re-start their game. Once tourney starts, Players will have 5 minutes to begin their first game. No-shows will be reported as a loss. Player listed on top of bracket starts first. ALL scores are to be announced and acknowledged in chat by everyone playing in the tourney. All losses are to be reported on TOURNEY PAGE ONLY!! If you have to type in a name, you are reporting on the wrong page! Immediately request assistance from the hosting TD. If a Player is in the middle of a game and gets disconnected from Hermanubis for any reason, then that Player must start their game over. Unless INVITED by their opponent to do otherwise. If a Player was disconnected and has to reboot, they will have 8 minutes (no ping) or 3 minutes (ping present AND delaying the match) to return to Hemanubis. Multiple reboots may result in disqualification from tournament play and a loss being posted for that Player at the discretion of the Tournament Director. While playing your game, if your OPPONENT is booted - you must halt play immediately and contact the hosting TD, who will then verify your score. Failure to do so will result in replay of your game. No Player is allowed to play in a league match while playing in the tournament. Any Player found doing so will be disqualified from the tournament immediately!! There will be no exceptions to the above rule as this is also a part of Case's rules for all leaguers. You must either halt your league play at the end of the present game being played when tournament starts and keep scores to the side or withdraw from tournament to continue with league match. GOOD LUCK & FUN TOO!
