Instead of using your total cumulative score to determine the winner of match play, you will earn points to determine who the winner is...So tell us, are you the best? Remember, this is a double-elimination style tournament! You must lose twice to be completely out of the tournament. Make sure you check bottom set of brackets after posting your first loss to see who your next Opponent will be! <blockquote>Example of scoring: <li>For a match that consists of 3 individual games (no math). The winner of 2 out of 3 games advances. <li>Game 1: Player 1 scores 8,000 and Player 2 scores 5,000 - Player 1 wins first game. <li>Game 2: Player 1 scores 3,000 and Player 2 scores 10,000 - Player 2 wins second game. <li>Game 3: Player 1 scores 12,000 and Player 2 scores 15,000 - Player 2 wins third game. <li>Player 2 wins two of three games and advances to next round. Player 1 reports loss to tourney page. </blockquote> <li>For a match that consists of 5 individual games. The winner of 3 out of 5 games advances to next round. <li>Rounds will consist of 5 games each for top brackets and 3 games each for bottom brackets. <li>First final will be 5 games each, if a second final is needed it will be 3 games each. <li>Always make sure your Opponent has entered your room before beginning your game. If you start before your Opponent enters your room, you must restart your game. <li>If you were not in an Opponent's room before they started their game, you must notify them before they finish and post their score for that game. If you do not notify your Opponent before they have posted their score, then that posted score will stand and they will not have to re-start their game. <li>Once tourney starts, Players will have 5 minutes to begin their first game. No-shows will be reported as a loss. <li>Player listed on top of bracket starts first. <li>ALL scores are to be announced and acknowledged in chat by everyone playing in the tourney. <li>All losses are to be reported on TOURNEY PAGE ONLY!! If you have to type in a name, you are reporting on the wrong page! Immediately request assistance from the hosting TD. <li>If a Player is in the middle of a game and gets disconnected from Hermanubis for any reason, then that Player must start their game over. Unless invited by their opponent to do otherwise. <li>If a Player was disconnected and has to reboot, they will have 8 minutes (no ping) or 3 minutes (ping present AND delaying the match) to return to Hemanubis. Multiple reboots may result in disqualification from tournament play and a loss being posted for that Player at the discretion of the Tournament Director. <li>While playing your game, if your OPPONENT is booted - you must halt play immediately and contact the hosting TD, who will then verify your score. Failure to do so will result in replay of your game. <li>No Player is allowed to play in a league match while playing in the tournament. Any Player found doing so will be disqualified from the tournament immediately!! <li>There will be no exceptions to the above rule as this is also a part of Case's rules for all leaguers. You must either halt your league play at the end of the present game being played when tournament starts and keep scores to the side or withdraw from tournament to continue with league match.</ul> <center>GOOD LUCK TOWNIES!</center> </tr></table>
