<TABLE WIDTH=77% CELLPADDING=6 CELLSPACING=6 BORDER=3 align=center> <TR><TD bgcolor=darkslateblue> <center>MidTown Rules - Opponent's Choice</center> </TR> <TR><TD bgcolor=BLACK> This is a single elimination Opponent's Choice style tournament. There's a rather strange twist to this style tournament -- you will either triple, reverse or keep as is, the score you post in chat -- your Opponent gets to choose what you do with your score. <blockquote><li>You will play your game as you normally would and then post score in chat. <li>Once score is posted, however, your Opponent will then tell you if you are TRIPLING, REVERSING or KEEPING your score as posted. <li>Each option will only be used once. So by the last game you will know what is planned for your score as only one option will be left. <li>Player with highest total cumulative score will be declared winner and advance.</blockquote> <li>All rounds will consist of 3 games each, including the Final round. <li>Always make sure your Opponent has entered your room before beginning your game. If you start before your Opponent enters your room, you must restart your game. <li>If you were not in an Opponent's room before they started their game, you must notify them before they finish and post their score for that game. If you do not notify your Opponent before they have posted their score, then that posted score will stand and they will not have to re-start their game. <li>Once tourney starts, Players will have 5 minutes to begin their first game. No-shows will be reported as a loss. <li>Player listed on top of bracket starts first. <li>ALL scores are to be announced and acknowledged in chat by everyone playing in the tourney. <li>All losses are to be reported on TOURNEY PAGE ONLY!! If you have to type in a name, you are reporting on the wrong page! Immediately request assistance from the hosting TD. <li>If a Player is in the middle of a game and gets disconnected from Hermanubis for any reason, then that Player must start their game over. Unless INVITED by their opponent to do otherwise. <li>If a Player was disconnected and has to reboot, they will have 8 minutes (no ping) or 3 minutes (ping present AND delaying the match) to return to Hemanubis. Multiple reboots may result in disqualification from tournament play and a loss being posted for that Player at the discretion of the Tournament Director. <li>While playing your game, if your OPPONENT is booted - you must halt play immediately and contact the hosting TD, who will then verify your score. Failure to do so will result in replay of your game. <li>No Player is allowed to play in a league match while playing in the tournament. Any Player found doing so will be disqualified from the tournament immediately!! <li>There will be no exceptions to the above rule as this is also a part of Case's rules for all leaguers. You must either halt your league play at the end of the present game being played when tournament starts and keep scores to the side or withdraw from tournament to continue with league match.</ul> <center>GOOD LUCK TOWNIES!</center> </tr></table>
