MidTown Rules - Reverse Race!! This is a single elimination Reverse Race style tournament with an added twist...Not only will you be racing to a target score, but your scores will be REVERSED each time you post! Add up all your reversed scores to make your total score for the match. Total score IS NOT then reversed. This is an interesting style because you really don't know what may happen - winners can become losers, and vice versa, very easily. Example of reverse scoring: 13,750 would become: 5731 10,000 would become: 1. There is no set number of games to be played in this tournament. Each Player will race to 4,000 points cumulative score. Players must alternate their play during the tournament. Example of scoring: If Player 1 reaches the target first (4,000 points), then Player 2 has one last turn to exceed the total cumulative score of Player 1. If Player 2 exceeds the total cumulative score of Player 1, then Player 2 is declared the winner. However, if Player 2 does not exceed the total cumulative score of Player 1, then Player 1 is declared the winner. All rounds will consist of Players playing to 4,000 cumulative points while alternating play. Always make sure your Opponent has entered your room before beginning your game. If you start before your Opponent enters your room, you must restart your game. If you were not in an Opponent's room before they started their game, you must notify them before they finish and post their score for that game. If you do not notify your Opponent before they have posted their score, then that posted score will stand and they will not have to re-start their game. Once tourney starts, Players will have 5 minutes to begin their first game. No-shows will be reported as a loss. Player listed on top of bracket starts first. ALL scores are to be announced and acknowledged in chat by everyone playing in the tourney. All losses are to be reported on TOURNEY PAGE ONLY! If you have to type in a name, you are reporting on the wrong page! If a Player is disconnected from Hermanubis for any reason, Player must start game over. Unless INVITED by their opponent to do otherwise. If a Player has to reboot, they will have 8 minutes to return to Hermanubis. Multiple reboots may result in disqualification from tournament play and a loss being posted for that Player at the discretion of the Tournament Director. While playing your game, if your OPPONENT is booted - you must halt play immediately and contact the hosting TD, who will then verify your score. Failure to do so will result in replay of your game. No Player is allowed to play in a league match while playing in the tournament. Any Player found doing so will be disqualified from the tournament immediately!! There will be no exceptions to the above rule as this is also a part of Case's rules for all leaguers. You must either halt your league play at the end of the present game being played when tournament starts and keep scores to the side or withdraw from tournament to continue with league match. GOOD LUCK TOWNIES and FUN TOO!
