MidTown Rules - Snowball!! This is a single elimination Snowball style tournament. You will be carrying your previous scores over to your next round with you. Will that previous score, combined with the present score still keep you a winner? Let's see if you have what it takes! Players advancing to next round carry their previous score with them. This score will be added to your total score for the next round to determine the winner of that round. This continues on through out the tournament to the Finals. Examples of score advancing: For Players that advance to next round after match play: The total score of the previous match is added to the current match's total cumulative score to determine the winner that will advance. So if Player 1 finished their last match with a final score of: 11,250, they would then announce that score in chat for the benefit of their next match Opponent. Player 1 would then play their next match. Player 1 now finishes this match with a score of 12,340. Player 1 would now add their cumulative score from the new match (12,340) to the cumulative score they are carrying forward (11,250) to give them their total cumulative score to determine the winner of that second match. If Player 1 was the successful winner of the match, their new cumulative score they would be carrying forward would then be: 11,250 + 12,340 = 23,590. Player 1 would then announce 23,590 in chat for their new Opponent's benefit before beginning their next match. Player with highest total cumulative score will advance. For Players that have byes for their first round: The total score of the previous match is not available. The Player must multiply their game average by the number of set games for the tournament. Example: Average = 10,500 Number of games = 3 Score to use as beginning score = 3 x 10,500 = 31,500 Players must announce this score in chat before beginning their match play for their Opponent's benefit. Average scores can be found by clicking on a Player's name in chat. When window opens, Player's stats will appear at the top of the new window. All rounds will consist of 3 games each, including the Final round. Always make sure your Opponent has entered your room before beginning your game. If you start before your Opponent enters your room, you must restart your game. Once tourney starts, Players will have 5 minutes to begin their first game. No-shows will be reported as a loss. Player listed on top of bracket starts first. ALL scores are to be announced and acknowledged in chat by everyone playing in the tourney. All losses are to be reported on TOURNEY PAGE ONLY!! If you have to type in a name, you are reporting on the wrong page! If a Player is disconnected from Hermanubis for any reason, Player must start game over. Unless INVITED by their opponent to do otherwise. If a Player was disconnected and has to reboot, they will have 8 minutes (no ping) or 3 minutes (ping present AND delaying the match) to return to Hemanubis. Multiple reboots may result in disqualification from tournament play and a loss being posted for that Player at the discretion of the Tournament Director. While playing your game, if your OPPONENT is booted - you must halt play immediately and contact the hosting TD, who will then verify your score. Failure to do so will result in replay of your game. No Player is allowed to play in a league match while playing in the tournament. Any Player found doing so will be disqualified from the tournament immediately!! There will be no exceptions to the above rule as this is also a part of Case's rules for all leaguers. You must either halt your league play at the end of the present game being played when tournament starts and keep scores to the side or withdraw from tournament to continue with league match. GOOD LUCK TOWNIES!
