<center><center><TABLE WIDTH=77% CELLPADDING=3 CELLSPACING=3 BORDER=5 align=center> <TR><TD bgcolor=36648B ><center>MidTown Rules -- Switch It Up Swiss!</TR> <TR><TD bgcolor=black> <center>This is a Switch It Up, Swiss Style Tournament.</center> <li>In this style of tournament, EVERY PLAYER PLAYS IN EVERY ROUND REGARDLESS OF THEIR MATCH RESULTS. <li>Each win counts as one (1) point, and each loss counts as zero(0) points. <li>The tournament is finished as soon as there is only one player remaining who is undefeated. <li>A player may withdraw from the tournament after any round if they no longer wish to continue competing. <ul type="circle"><li>NOTE: The number of rounds is set before the tournament begins in order to specify a maximum number of players. If the tournament is set for six (6) rounds, this does not guarantee that there will be six rounds of play since players withdrawing from the tournament may shorten the rounds required to reach an undefeated player. <li>If, for some reason, after the given number of rounds has been played and there is still more than one undefeated player, the tournament will be automatically be extended by the system in order to determine a winner.</ul></ul> <blockquote>Each round will consist of a different tourney format. <ul><li>Round 1 - 2 games each - Standard <li>Round 2 - 2 games each - 5K Start Round Bonus <li>Round 3 - 2 games each - High Score <li>Round 4 - 1 game - 3 Strikes <li>If more rounds are needed, Round 1 will begin again.</ul></blockquote> <li>Always make sure your Opponent has entered your room before beginning your game. If you start before your Opponent enters your room, you must restart your game. <li>If you were not in an Opponent's room before they started their game, you must notify them before they finish and post their score for that game. If you do not notify your Opponent before they have posted their score, then that posted score will stand and they will not have to re-start their game. <li>Once tourney starts, Players will have 5 minutes to begin their first game. No-shows will be reported as a loss. <li>Player listed on top of bracket starts first. <li>ALL scores are to be announced and acknowledged in chat by everyone playing in the tourney. <li>All losses are to be reported on TOURNEY PAGE ONLY!! If you have to type in a name, you are reporting on the wrong page! Immediately request assistance from the hosting TD. <li>If a Player is in the middle of a game and gets disconnected from Hermanubis for any reason, then that Player must start their game over. Unless INVITED by their opponent to do otherwise. <li> If a Player was disconnected and has to reboot, they will have 8 minutes (no ping) or 3 minutes (ping present AND delaying the match) to return to Hemanubis. Multiple reboots may result in disqualification from tournament play and a loss being posted for that Player at the discretion of the Tournament Director. <li>While playing your game, if your OPPONENT is booted - you must halt play immediately and contact the hosting TD, who will then verify your score. Failure to do so will result in replay of your game. If YOU are booted - remember, you must restart your game. <li>No Player is allowed to play in a league match while playing in the tournament. Any Player found doing so will be disqualified from the tournament immediately!! <li>There will be no exceptions to the above rule as this is also a part of Case's rules for all leaguers. You must either halt your league play at the end of the present game being played when tournament starts and keep scores to the side or withdraw from tournament to continue with league match.</ul> <center>GOOD LUCK TOWNIES !</center> </tr></table>
