MidTown Rules -- Random Team!! This is a single elimination Random Team style tournament. Each Player will register for the tournament individually, but be paired up randomly by the system to make the teams. No one will know whom his or her partner is until after the standings are up. There will be 2 Players per team (a Captain and Co-Captain) playing in each set of brackets. Each Team will play 4 games, with each Player on that team playing 2 games apiece, while alternating play between both Teams. Captain of Team A (1st Player listed in top of bracket pairings) would go first, then Captain of Team B (1st Player listed in top of bottom bracket pairings) would go second, and so on, alternating play through the match. Maker sure all of your Opponents are in your room before beginning play. A Team's cumulative score is comprised of the total of both Player's scores on a Team for all games. Team with the highest total cumulative score advances on to next round. The system will generate a password to be used for reporting losses for this tournament only, and email it to the Co-Captain of the Team. Only one Player needs to report the loss. The system automatically updates the records of the remaining loser and winners of the match. Example: All team Players watch everyone else's game at the same time. Team 1 - Player A (first person listed in top of bracket pairings) plays their first game. Team 2 - Player A (first person listed in bottom of bracket pairings) plays their first game. Teams continue in this fashion until all Players on all teams have played their games. All the Teams then add up the scores together for each Player on the team for a total cumulative "team" score. Team with highest score advances on to next round. All rounds will consist of 4 games per Team each (with each team Player playing 2 games of alternating play each) with cumulative scoring. Final round, will be 6 games per Team each (with each team Player playing 3 games of alternating play each) with cumulative scoring. Always make sure your Opponent has entered your room before beginning your game. If you start before your Opponent enters your room, you must restart your game. If you were not in an Opponent's room before they started their game, you must notify them before they finish and post their score for that game. If you do not notify your Opponent before they have posted their score, then that posted score will stand and they will not have to re-start their game. Once tourney starts, Players will have 5 minutes to begin their first game. No-shows will be reported as a loss. Player listed on top of bracket starts first. ALL scores are to be announced and acknowledged in chat by everyone playing in the tourney. All losses are to be reported on TOURNEY PAGE ONLY!! If you have to type in a name, you are reporting on the wrong page! Immediately request assistance from the hosting TD. If a Player is in the middle of a game and gets disconnected from Hermanubis for any reason, then that Player must start their game over. Unless INVITED by their opponent to do otherwise. If a Player was disconnected and has to reboot, they will have 8 minutes (no ping) or 3 minutes (ping present AND delaying the match) to return to Hemanubis. Multiple reboots may result in disqualification from tournament play and a loss being posted for that Player at the discretion of the Tournament Director. While playing your game, if your OPPONENT is booted - you must halt play immediately and contact the hosting TD, who will then verify your score. Failure to do so will result in replay of your game. No Player is allowed to play in a league match while playing in the tournament. Any Player found doing so will be disqualified from the tournament immediately!! There will be no exceptions to the above rule as this is also a part of Case's rules for all leaguers. You must either halt your league play at the end of the present game being played when tournament starts and keep scores to the side or withdraw from tournament to continue with league match. GOOD LUCK TOWNIES!
