MidTown Rules -- Standard Team! This is a single elimination Team style tournament. There will be 2 Players per team playing in each set of brackets. Each "Team" will play 4 games with each Player on that team playing 2 games apiece, alternating play except final round, which will be 6 games per Team. Make sure all of your opponents are in your room before beginning play. Team with the highest total cumulative score advances on to next round. Each team Captain will make-up a password to be used by the Team for registering and reporting losses. Only the Player who is the co-captain need report the loss. The system automatically updates the records of the remaining losers/winners of the match. Example: Player A ("Captain" of team) registers the team for the tournament. Player B ("team" Player) uses the password decided upon for their "Team" to register and join that team to play in tournament. All team Players watch everyone else's game at the same time. Players are not to begin until everyone is in their room. Team 1 - Player A (the "captain") plays their first game. Team 2 - Player A (the "captain") plays their first game. Team 1 - Player B ("team" Player) plays their first game. Teams continue in this fashion until all Players on all teams have played their games. The Teams then add up all scores for each Player on the team for a total cumulative "team" score. Team with highest total cumulative score advances to next round. All rounds will consist of 4 games per Team each (with each team Player playing 2 games) of alternating play, with cumulative scoring. Final round, will be 6 games per Team each (with each team Player playing 3 games of alternating play each) with cumulative scoring. Always make sure your Opponent has entered your room before beginning your game. If you start before your Opponent enters your room, you must restart your game. If you were not in an Opponent's room before they started their game, you must notify them before they finish and post their score for that game. If you do not notify your Opponent before they have posted their score, then that posted score will stand and they will not have to re-start their game. Once tourney starts, Players will have 5 minutes to begin their first game. No-shows will be reported as a loss. Player listed on top of bracket starts first. ALL scores are to be announced and acknowledged in chat by everyone playing in the tourney. All losses are to be reported on TOURNEY PAGE ONLY!! If you have to type in a name, you are reporting on the wrong page! Immediately request assistance from the hosting TD. If a Player is in the middle of a game and gets disconnected from Hermanubis for any reason, then that Player must start their game over. Unless INVITED by their opponent to do otherwise. If a Player was disconnected and has to reboot, they will have 8 minutes (no ping) or 3 minutes (ping present AND delaying the match) to return to Hemanubis. Multiple reboots may result in disqualification from tournament play and a loss being posted for that Player at the discretion of the Tournament Director. While playing your game, if your OPPONENT is booted - you must halt play immediately and contact the hosting TD, who will then verify your score. Failure to do so will result in replay of your game. No Player is allowed to play in a league match while playing in the tournament. Any Player found doing so will be disqualified from the tournament immediately!! There will be no exceptions to the above rule as this is also a part of Case's rules for all leaguers. You must either halt your league play at the end of the present game being played when tournament starts and keep scores to the side or withdraw from tournament to continue with league match. GOOD LUCK TOWNIES!
