New York, Rhode Island, and Massachusetts
After the ferry ride, we crossed the Brooklyn Bridge and headed out Flatbush Ave.
The view from the bridge bike path was spectacular!
The next day, we visited the Harrison's on Fire Island. Jan and Mollie shown here.
The Fire Island sunset, following a sail, was the end of a great day.
The following night we ate dinner overlooking Shinnecock Inlet.
At the end of Long Island, we took the passenger boat to Block Island, in the fog.
The ferry line on Block Island was the first stop in New England.
Finally, in Portsmouth, RI, a beautiful sunset.
Jan's cousin, Bea, with her fiance, Bob Ims, who put us up in Portsmouth, RI.
And Jan's sister, Judy Cobble, with us at the Cobble's house in Braintree.
From Braintree we rode to the Quincy commuter boat.
The boat ride gave us a good view of the Boston waterfront and skyline.
And finally, back into Marblehead! It's great to be home!
