    • HT Updated Bubble Favor How-To
    • Coffin-shaped Boxes: great for favor boxes or mailing invites (I have tried the one from Pushin Daisies* (they also have a fancy gift box version)); 4HalloweenCoffins (music warning) has a smaller box.
    • Dark Candles* Would help set the mood for your haunt/party. Also makes excellent prizes or party favors! I ordered the Variety Pack, and was happy with the service and the scents! Best of all, Dark Candles says that they almost never have issues with melting, so it's safe to order whenever.
    • HT My Favor Ideas
    • Gorey Details*- fun resource for Gorey-themed stamps, cards, etc., plus tons of other spooky stuff.

    • HT Mini Vintage Postcard magnets - make magnets featuring mini versions of vintage Halloween postcards

    • Oriental Trading
    • Plum Party
    • Pushin Daisies* - A "mortuary novelty shop", featuring tombstone soap, all kinds of props and doo-dads related to Halloween, funerals, etc.

    • HT Surprise Ball - My brief how-to on making a fun (if a little messy) favor/gift featuring yards & yards of crepe paper and a bunch of little surprises.

halloween zombieAbout this siteThis site was created as a way for me to keep track of all the cool Halloween-related links I come across. I love sharing good finds, so I made it a public web page. You'll note that there are no ads of any kind, and I will do my best to keep it that way. You might notice that there aren't any flashing thingies, big pictures, etc. It's a low-tech, dial-up-friendly set-up (plus, I hate flashing thingies).

To recommend sites for listing on this page, please send an email to myhalloweenlinks@gmail.com (new!). As this a collection of links that I want to refer to, and just happen to share, I cannot guarantee that I will list all submitted links. I can safely say that most of the time a site with pop-ups (or unders) will not be listed. Otherwise, it's purely a subjective process: I list the links that interest me.

New Haircut 3From time to time, I review merchants/sites, products and books. I do accept products and books for review; if interested, please get in touch. I'll happily take any product you want to send, and will guarantee my honest response.

Enjoy!

What's New
  • 7/26/10: Slowly updating the tutorials on the new blog and condensing the list in the site map section.
  • 7/15/10: Trying to post at least every other day on the blog and succeeding (so far). I'll be transitioning the mini-tutuorials to blog posts and updating the links as they go live.Added a few new links, updated a couple others.
  • 7/5/10: Added some for fun links (anything marked with "new" right now is new since 6/15). Added link to my Halloween blog to the page hearder - I'm trying to update at least a couple of times a week. There will be suggestions there that I won't necessarily add here, so please consider subscribing!
  • 6/19/10: Links on sub-pages cleaned up and several new links added to this page and the recipes page.
  • 6/18/10: Right side link clean-up complete. On to the sub-pages!
  • 6/16/10: Link clean-up begins (left side complete). The costume section is being culled, at least temporarily, because the sites for several of the items are gone. (Very sad.) The original $20 Fog Chiller site is no longer available. I found another tute for a similar price range and added that instead. I removed the links to Derek Greenwood's Halloween pages, because his projects are down after someone copied and tried selling the tutorials.
  • 6/15/10: What? Almost a year?! Last Halloween, I was busy actually having a party. And since then, working at a crazy-busy job. But I'm in the mood now, because I'm having a Halloween-themed birthday party this summer and have so much planning to do! Pre-invitations went out today, to ten individuals/families and I spent a couple of hours yesterday sorting through my current collection of goodies & decorations (that aren't already up). Now it's time to clean up the site. (Oh yeah, I've also been working on a movie. That's taken up some time. (I'm co-producing, did a bit of acting, and am the webgoddess to boot.))
