FREE ON LINE CHAT/TALK PROGRAMS
HumanClick: http://www.humanclick.com/support/  This program allows you to talk directly with the person who manages the web page, in a very similar way to ICQ. A message box comes up, and you can carry on a conversation. This is a Java Script message you put into your HTML. Take look at how it works

FireTalk: http://www.firetalk.com/index.html.
This program allows you to do an On Line Chat as well as Voice activated chat. You can also be part of a forum, or create your own forum. Easy to install, and it works quite well. More information available at: http://www.members.home.net/webmidwife1/firetalkchat.html

On Line Useful Fax Programs:
www.fax4free.com http://www.fax4free.com/home.asp
Send a fax from you computer. Register yourself, then sign in, and send a fax. You can either write one on the spot, or send a file you already have written. Nifty program. Also includes a voicemail feature.
www.efax.com  http://www.eFax.com/help
This program give you a free fax number, so that if someone wants to send you a fax, give them this number. It is a long distance number (from the Olympia area), but that shouldn't matter. Has worked very well for me.
Using these two programs eliminates pretty much the need for a fax machine if you only need to fax things once in awhile. The only thing that would be difficult to fax would be medical records or specific forms that aren't on you computer.
