The Beers of Bold City Brewery

White Ale

Our lightest beer; is a Belgian White Ale. Brewed with white wheat malt, Coriander and Bitter Orange peel. This refreshing Ale is pleasant on a hot summer day or a fall afternoon. Try it with a wedge of Orange.

Rye Wheat

This is an American Pale Wheat Ale, An Americanized version of a Hefe Weizen. The malt bill includes 14% rye malt which adds a refreshing addition. Many patrons enjoy a orange or lemon with this ale.

Rye Pale Ale

A medium bodied Pale Ale brewed with Rye Malt which provides a distinct flavor. A slight hop bitterness finishes this beer off nicely. This is a must try!

Olde English Ale

This is an old ale/stock ale. Old ales are remnants of a period when most ales were strong and somewhat dark. Today's versions are wide ranging. In general, however, they can be described as ales of higher than average strength that benefit greatly from some aging, are gently hopped, and that showcase a malt base. Some are seasonal brews. Aging may be the key contributor to the character of old ale, as they can develop a complex profile with some oxidative or wine-like notes.

Mad Manatee IPA

The American IPA is a different soul from the reincarnated IPA style. More flavorful than the withering English IPA, color can range from very pale golden to reddish amber. Hops are typically American with a big herbal and / or citric character, bitterness is high as well. Moderate to medium bodied with a balancing malt back bone.

Chinook IPA

This IPA is brewed with one hop variety. The Chinook.

Duke's Cold Nose Brown Ale

This is a mild brown ale which is easily drinkable. A Slight nuttiness and sweetness are present.

Red Ale

This is not your standard Red Ale. This is a very ‘malty’, ‘roasty’ and complex Red Ale. The roasted flavor comes from the high presence of roasted barley. With a very minimal but high alpha hop addition, this Red Ale has become a favorite among patrons.

Smoky Porter

Bold City's winter seasonal. Very bold, robust porter with a nice hint of smokiness.
