Rafting along the Lehigh, camping at rafting

Wear old sneakers (NO OPEN TOED SHOES), bring a waterproof bag
if you have one, be sure to wear sunscreen.
Those wearing glasses should bring an eyeglass strap.
Bathing suits are ok, but must be one-piece.
Bring a bicycle helmet, BSA requires use of helmets during whitewater
rafting.
For Friday night: bring something to share with the group for the Cracker
Barrel

-Take the Northeast Extension of PA
Turnpike (Route 476) to Exit 95 (old exit 35)
-WEST on Route 80 to Exit 273 (old exit 40)
-Go west on Route 940 for 1/2 mile
-Turn left (south) onto Lehigh Gorge Drive
-Go 4.8 miles and look for the Driftwood Greenhouse on the right
-Go 1/10th mile after the Greenhouse and turn right onto Buck Mountain Road
-Go 1 mile to first intersection, Turn right again onto North Stagecoach
Road
-Go 300 yards to our entrance on the right. |
