Want to live on the edge? Visit a place recreated each day by ocean wind and waves. Life on Assateague Island has adapted to an existence on the move. Explore sandy beaches, salt marshes, maritime forests and coastal bays. Rest, relax, recreate and enjoy some time on the edge of the continent.
Directions:  
  1. From Marlton, take Rt. 70 to 295 South.
  2. Follow 295 South to Delaware Memorial Bridge. ($3.00 Toll)
  3. Cross bridge and proceed to the second exit and take Rt. 13 South.
  4. After the town of Blackbird, Rt. 13 and Rt. 1 fork, take Rt. 1 (around Dover) to Rt. 113 South.
  5. Stay on Rt. 113 South into Maryland and then to the town of Berlin, turn left on to Rt. 376 East, Assateague Road.
  6. Take Rt. 376 East to intersection with Rt. 611.
  7. Turn right and follow to Assateague National Park.
  8. Enter the National park and proceed to the Youth Group Camping Area.
     Driving time is estimated at 3 hours.
