The two primary RPGs I play are Crisis and D&D.  Time and money limit me to only one active game at any given time.

Crisis is a combination Role Playing/Strategy game.  You play the leader of a nation on historic Earth starting on January 1st of the year of the scenario.  Your goal, outplay, outlast, outlive the other players through whatever means you can given the limits of your nation's resources and political influence.  The scenarios that have been played thus far are 1930(The Great Depression), 1974(Cold War or Detente) and 1988(Precipice of Ideology).

I played D&D often as a teenager.  I fell away from it as I realized it was having serious negative side effects on my grades.  I also found I didn't enjoy the way it was played by the others in my group at the time.

As an adult, I decided to give D&D a new chance with more mature players and the new 3rd Edition.  The new game system is a breath of fresh air to me.  We played the official Ashardalon campaign from 1st level and ended up at about 21st level when all was done.  It was a great way to learn the new system.  Now that 3.5 is out, we have switched over and are playing a self-designed campaign I am calling The Lost God.  We are again starting at 1st level and are hoping to go to 25th level, or beyond.
