Dr. Musick is a lead scientist at iKuni Inc., a small company focused on machine learning technology for behavior capture in the video game industry. His research interests include automated induction, data mining, and scientific data management. Ron joined iKuni in the latter part of 2000, where his primary roles are that of local machine learning expert and manager.
Ron earned his Ph.D. from the University of California, Berkeley (Computer Science) in 1994, and he joined Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory in 1995. As a member of the Center for Applied Scientific Computing (CASC), Ron was the group leader for the Data Science Group, and the project lead for a large-scale data warehousing research project named DataFoundry.
