November 2007 Newsletter

We have established our meeting schedule for the 2007-08 season, please note these dates and locations on your calendars.

Fridley American Legion at 7365 Central Ave. N
                     Monday, November 12                    7:00 PM
                     Monday, January 21                        7:00 PM

Take Hiway 65 to 73rd (SA Station), take a right. Go to Stop Sign, then left 1/2 block. Parking in back.

It is key that you attend the association meetings. The first meeting will focus on schedules, startup activities, and a clinic. The second will address rules. The third will cover the tournaments and the State Tourney. Ron Ackerman

Dues

If you have not paid your dues for this year you can pay them at the meeing. They are $125 for Full Members and $75 for Associates.

Rules Meetings

Wed. Nov. 7, is the final MSHSL Rules Interpretation Meeting in the Metro area. Starts at 7 PM at Henry Sibley High School.

Meetings This Year

We will have pizza and refreshments at the meetings at the Fridley American Legion. Pizza will be brought in at 6:15 PM! Come Early! Stay Late!

Rod Frost, who manages our Mentor Program, will be there to discuss it. We currently have 14 Associates with Mentors and 4 more that have joined since the last meeting. This is the largest group of Associates we have ever had.

Schedules

I will have new, updated schedules for you at the meeting. Remember, the latest one that I give you is the most current! We have about 70% of the Middle School matches in. Look at the Need Refs (click on the whistle). I have been updating it daily. They are going fast.

Shirts and Pants

Jeff Lathrop will be having shirts, pants, jackets, and shoes at the Nov. meeting for purchase.

Do Test Before Meeting

You should do your test prior to the meeting, remember you have to input it prior to Nov. 15 on the MSHSL web site. We will discuss the test at the meeting.
