CVA would like to take a moment to salute two of it's greatest partners.

Tim Hess and Matt Hankey of KOG Volleyball and Play For Keeps Volleyball have been supporting CVA for many years. Not only do they bring a following of dozens of players to many of our tournaments, they have helped promote, run and organize many of our events. Without the help of partners like them, CVA would find it hard to exist during this period of transition.

Please join us in expressing our appreciation to these gentlemen for all they have done for CVA and the sport of Volleyball.

To show our appreciation, we would like to encourage CVA players to support KOG VOLLEYBALL and PLAY FOR KEEPS VOLLEYBALL. These outstanding organizations hold tournaments throughout Maryland and Pennysylvania. Like CVA, these groups are created for and by the players who are passionate about volleyball growing in this region.

You can find more information on these organizations at:

Thanks!

Welcome to Crofton Volleyball! Everything you need to know about CVA is right here. Spring/Summer is fast approaching and another season of CVA volleyball is soon to begin. Pickup play will resume on Tuesdays/Thursday. We hope to see alot of old and new faces join us this season for our pick-up play and our tournaments.

As many already know, we have had a management change over the winter. The new management hopes to continue the success of the predecessors of Crofton Volleyball. We have had a great turnout over the past few years. Word has definitely gotten out thanks to the website and members spreading the good news. We have also been featured in a few local papers. We at one point had over 100 regular players ranging in level from B - Open and even more members when you take into account our tournaments and events. Due to this increase in membership and the wide range of skill levels we have been able to provide between 4-6 nets of play on a typical pickup play day, which has improved the flow and game play during pickup.

Crofton Volleyball History:

The Fathers of CVA! Crofton Volleyball owes its entire existance to these three gentlemen. Without their hard work, dedication, and persistance to keep Crofton Volleyball running. Crofton Volleyball would not exist today. The new management of CVA would like to extend a personal statement of gratitude for everything these three people did. Thank you so much, you three have left big shoes for the next generation of CVA to fill. Thank you!

2006 proved to be our biggest season thus far as we held 6 tournaments; 3 doubles events, 2 KOG's and our first ever COED tournament. We were also asked to run the MD Seafood Festival tournament weekend. The event was a huge success and in 2007 we once again ran the festival. Hopefully it will be even bigger and better this year. For a recap of our CVA tournaments and outings from this past season visit the events section. Once there you will find a recap of our past seasons along with the results and pictures from each of the tourneys. Special thanks goes out to Kevin, Brad and Jamie for the success and organization of our well known tournament series.

Over the past few years we purchased a number of new nets thanks to Park and Sun Sports. CVA now uses Wilson AVP Yellow and Spalding KOB ballls and Park and Sun Spectrum Classic net systems. Feel free to bring your own nets and balls with you to our pickup play sessions and tournaments. We can always use extra equipment and would appreciate your help.

But where is Crofton you might ask? We are in close proximity to DC, Baltimore and Annapolis, making us the a very popular grass volleyball organization.
