Harper leads Tech over CR

DOWNSTATE - Andrea Harper has 18 points by halftime and scored 28 overall as Sussex Tech defeated Caesar Rodney 55-48 in a Henlopen Conference girls basketball game Tuesday night.

Harper also nailed two three-pointers as the Ravens remained undefeated at 7-0.

Sussex Tech took control with a 21-11 burst in the second quarter.

Brittney Adkins chipped in 13 points for the Ravens.

Brittany Shells led the Riders with 12 points, with Nakia Anderson and April Jackson contributing eight points a piece.
