Caesar Rodney girls enjoy easy win in Delaware basketball

DOWNSTATE - Nakia Anderson scored 13 points and Jaimie Brittingham chipped in with 11 as Caesar Rodney defeated Dover 57-35 in a Henlopen Conference girls basketball game Thursday night.

The Riders defense came up big against their arch-rival, as CR limited the Senators to nine or less points in each quarter.

Brittingham hit two three-pointers in the game, as the Riders led 29-18 by halftime.

Rainey Bowden led Dover with nine points in the contest.
