Girls' basketball Dover 49, Delmar 35: Pabnesia Zachary tossed in 19 points while Asia Heath added eight points to lead Dover. Jen Hastings and Janae White each scored 10 points to lead Delmar.
Caesar Rodney 80, Laurel 15: Nakia Anderson netted 21 points while Jaimie Brittingham added 12 points to lead Caesar Rodney (8-2). Rashawna Lagrand and Kurstan Johnson scored four points to lead Laurel.
Polytech 67, Lake Forest 20: Andrea Harper scored a season-high 21 points while Tyresa Smith added 15 to power Polytech. Kim Rowley added 12 points for the Panthers. Shequanna Cannon scored 10 points to lead Lake Forest (4-6).
Cape Henlopen 35, Milford 26: Lisa Williams scored seven points to lead Cape Henlopen. The Vikings held a 12-11 lead at halftime but held Milford to just 15 points in the second half. Kourtney Short scored seven points to lead Milford.
Sussex Tech 86, Woodbridge 25: Britney Atkins scored 21 and Anika Jones added 10 in the win for the Ravens. Sussex Tech jumped out to a 31-6 lead after the first quarter and did not look back. Tiandra Felix scored a team-high 13 points for Woodbridge.
Epworth Christian 48, Holly Grove 26: Charmaine Reid scored 22 points and grabbed 12 rebounds to lead Epworth to the victory in a Monday night game. Ashley Hearn added 10 points and eight boards for Epworth (8-3). Epworth scored 16 points in both the second and third quarters to break open the game. Lindsey Masox scored a team-high seven points for Holly Grove (6-4). |
