The first port of call on our Ultimate Caribbean cruise was in Key West, Florida.
The picture above was taken from the tower in the Shipwreck Historeum during our
2.5 hour
Conch Train/Trolley, Aquarium and Shipwreck Historium tour.
The first part of the tour was the Conch Trolley tour which took us through town.
It started to rain during our tour, and the driver stopped and passed out ponchos.
By the time we got back to the starting point, Mallory Square, it had stopped raining.
Next we went inside the Shipwreck Historeum where we saw a brief film about life in this town when a shipwreck was sighted. From there we went to the Aquarium where we were able to see the marine life closeup.
After our tour, we spent some time shopping in the shops near the pier. Later that evening we sailed for our next port, Cozumel, Mexico. My wife and I took plenty of pictures as usual. I used my Sony digital PC100 which takes both video and still pictures. My wife used a pocket 35mm zoom camera. I'll be posting pictures in photo albums as soon as I get time to download the pictures and get the 35mm file developed and scanned. So make sure to check back often for updates.
