Celebrity Cruise Lines Zenith - Western Caribbean Feb. 11-16, 2006
Our next port was Key West, Florida. We've been here before, but still enjoy this charming city. It's claim to fame is being the Southernmost Point of the Continental United States.
Zenith docked literally right in the town. You can walk to shops and other attractions from the pier.
Since we've previously done all the tourist attractions,
we decided to walk through town, doing some shopping as we went. one of our stops was at the Key West Winery where we sampled several different fruit wines and purchased a case of wine which we had shipped home.
These wines are quite unique, so if you like a variety of wines, we suggest you stop there for some samples.
We had lunch at Jimmy Buffet's Margaritaville.
We continued our walk south toward the Southernmost point. We had someone take our picture and returned the favor for them.
We then went to the
Key West Butterfly & Nature Conservatory where we spent quite a lot of time taking pictures of all the gorgeous butterflies. Make sure you check out my photo albums from Key West.
As usual, I will describe the ports that we visited on our cruise. On this particular sailing, several shore excursion tours were possible. Visit the page for each port to find out what tours we took.
Don't forget to check out my photo albums for additional pictures in each port, as well as pictures onboard the Zenith.
