The embarkation port for this 5 night cruise to the Western Caribbean was the Port of Miami.
We like to arrive at least the night before our cruise whenever possible. We spend one night at the Wyndham Miami Airport Hotel.
Due to our late arrival, around 10:30 PM, we didn't have much time to take advantage of the lovely pool and other facilities of this hotel. In the morning, we had breakfast and took a cab to the port.
We were able to get right on the ship, around 11:30 am and headed off for a buffet lunch. After that we toured the ship and made spa appointments.
Following our cruise, we had a 3:30 PM flight home, so we had time to do some sightseeing after the cruise. We booked a Celebrity Shore excursion,
Everglades Safari Tour to Gator Park . We went on an airboat ride through the Everglades and then had time to have some lunch and shop in the gift store before being taken to Miami Airport.
