Everlasting Punishment

This is another "conventional belief" that Mary Baker Eddy spoke out against. She found it so important that she included it as one of the regular lesson subjects to be studied. The subject "everlasting punishment" is not just a tenet of many church doctrines and lore, it is one of the lies of mortal thought that would make God out to be human, mean, even "just"!

"...with the Lord there is mercy, and with him is plenteous redemption." Ps. 130:7

"Bless the Lord, O my soul: and all that is within me, bless his holy name. Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits: Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases; Who redeemeth thy life from destruction; Who crowneth thee with lovingkindness and tender mercies; ..." Ps. 103:1-4

"When I consider thy heavens, the work of thy fingers, the moon and the stars, which thou hast ordained; What is man, that thou art mindful of him? and the son of man, that thou visitest him? For thou hast made him a little lower than the angels, and hast crowned him with glory and honour. Thou madest him to have dominion over the works of thy hands; thou hast put all things under his feet: All sheep and oxen, yea, and the beasts of the field; The fowl of the air, and the fish of the sea, and whatsoever passeth through the paths of the seas. O Lord our Lord, how excellent is thy name in all the earth! " Ps. 8:3-6
