Competition Levels
Novice: Any athlete who has never won a competitive (competing against at least one other athlete) first place in that event.
Beginner: Any Athlete who has won at least 5 competitve first place awards in that event. After the fifth first place award is won, the athlete may no longer enter the beginner division in that event.
Intermediate: Any athlete who has won less than 10 competitive 1st place awards in that event. When the tenth 1st place is won, the athlete may no longer enter the Intermediate division in that event.
Advanced: Any athlete who has won ten or more competitive 1st place first place awards in that event.
***Example:
(First place awards won at any level of competition in an event count toward advancement in that event.)
***An Athlete Who has won 1 competitive 1st place in Novice Solo and 4 competitve 1st place in awards in Beginner Solo has won a total of 5 competitive 1st place awards in Solo and now must compete in the Intermediate division of Solo.
***An Intermediate or Advanced athlete may never compete in a lower classification, but an athlete may enter a higher classification. Whe the athlete has won the designated number of competitive 1st place awards for that event, the athlete must move up.
