Congratulations to John Gill for wrapping up the overall championship
to go along with his 1st Half Championship.

August 30 is the 7th week of the 2nd Half.  There is still a race

I plan to equibly pair low & high handicappers from those who
wish to play. Evenly balanced teams based on CSCGL handicaps will
allow for scratch competition on game day.  There are 14 low
handicap CSCGL golfers (<= 9) and 14 high handicappers (>9).

CSCGL99 will play all USGA rules, except that you may roll over your
ball in your own fairway;  you may rake out a lie in a footprint in 
a sandtrap and take a drop; and all "out of bounds" penalties are
stroke only, not stroke and distance.

CSCGL "temporary green" rule: 2 putt limit once you are on the
green.  You may elect to putt for a shot at a 1-putt.  Handicap
stroke distribution will occur in accordance with the hole rankings
on the card.

CSCGL format of play is medal play within the 4-some with 1 point 
awarded for each player you beat and match play between
the 1st & 2nd golfer and between the 3rd & 4th player for 3 points
each. Max points per night is 6.  We count the best 6 scores
of each 8 week half.
