Latest:
Congratulations to John Gill! Winner of the 1999 CSC Golf League President's Cup!
He won the match 7 and 5. Here is a
recap of the match.
The results for Fun Nite II have been posted. It has been a fun year.
Hopefully, this winter will be a reasonably mild one and there will be many opportunities to
play! Otherwise, see ya next spring!! The Road Trip to Olde Homestead was enjoyable, at least most of the time. I shot horribly on the front (59) and then got my act together and shot a 45 on the back. I took a bunch of pictures out there with my digital camera and if I get a chance (and have enough webpage space available), I will post some of the them soon. (1999/09/21) The results, standings, low net and overall standings pages for the Final week of the 1999 Season have been posted to the website. I will post the President's Cup Recap and the final statistics for the season when I receive them from Jim K. (1999/09/16)
The schedule for the CSCGL Road trip and Fun Nite II have been posted to the Website. I will post the results from Week 8 as soon as I receive them. (99/09/14) Message from the Scheduler: (99/09/14) Yes, Virginia, there will be a President's Cup! Congratulations to Paul Hummel for winning the 2nd half. Paul was long shot to some and a forgotten man to others, but he hung in there with grit and determination for the championship. Hat's off to Paul and John Gill for upholding the CSCGL champioship celebratory traditions. John Gill and Paul Hummel will pair off for the 18 hole President's Cup match. Also, there is still room for players on the road trip. the fun-nite-ii scheduler
Paul won his match and Low Net on what I heard was a great chip on the last hole. He had 35 net. John Gill won the other match, but he, Alex McLeod and Ed Hammond all shot 36 net, splitting the 3 points. This gave Paul the second half with 33 points, John Gill had 32 points, Dave Greenbaum took 3rd with 31 points, Alex McLeod had 30.5 points for 4th, Angelo Cornell took 5 points in his match Monday to end with 28 points in 5th place while Ed Hammond took 6th with 26.5 points, Dick Ditullio and Jim Quirus had 25.5 pts to finish tied 7th, George Piotrowski finished with 24.5 pts in 9th and Jim Kulcyk had 23 to finish in 10th.
Here is some info on the Road Trip being held this Saturday, September 18th. (Hopefully, Floyd will let us play) Due to an amazing rush of late cancellations, Dick put together a "revised" schedule for Monday, Sept 13. (99/09/09)
