Message from the Scheduler:  (99/09/08)

Monday, September 6, 1999 is Labor Day, a national, CSC and CSCGL holiday. The 8th & last week of the 2nd half is scheduled for Monday, September 13, 1999.

Fun Nite II is penciled-in for Monday, September 20, 1999. Please inform the scheduler of your F_N_II participation plans by Tuesday, Sep 14th unless you have already done so. So far its Dick DiTullio, John Gill, Ed Hammond, Angelo Cornell, Blair Rothermel, Mark Miller, Ed Tomasch & Jeff McGarry(?).

Road trip to Olde Homestead for Saturday, September 18th-So far those interested are Dick DiTullio, Joe Duda, Bill Wieland, Marty Wible, Dave Greenbaum, Ed Hammond, Angelo Cornell, Mark Miller. If there are more interested players, please notify me by Friday, September 10th.

Special Message from The Scheduler

I need some feedback on the following 2 ideas:

1. For Fun Nite II, a 9 hole 2 player team scramble using CSCGL99 handicaps: 2/3 of low handicapper + 1/3 of the high handicapper. To be played the Monday after the 8th week of the 2nd half.

2. For the Road Trip, an outing to Olde Homestead in New Tripoli, Pa on a Saturday in September/October....Sep 11?

Hi!.......Attached is the Schedule for July 26. Jim Kulcyk is on vacation this week and the scores from last week have not yet been tabulated. The handicaps on the pairings are provided for guidance only. They will be corrected when Jim does the scoring. The current schedule has the league playing Week 1-7 this Monday, June 21. Fun nite, which consists of a Team Scramble and Team Putting Contest, will be held on Monday, June 28 and the final week of the First Half will be played on Monday, July 12. Then we will start the Second Half on Monday, July 19. (99/06/16)

There have been some questions pertaining to the way the league works this year, especially with the new players. I know Jim and I haven't had time to work on updating last years manual to reflect changes, such as 1999 dates, a graphic of the score card and other stuff. But I think it would be useful to post last year's manual anyway. It presents the procedures on how the league is run and how handicaps are computed. Just remember that some of the references pertain to last year. It is a Microsoft Word Document.  (99/06/25)
