Congratulations to Jim Kniker and John Gill for winning the Low Team Net competion with a 34 net. (36 gross - 2 hcp) Here are the results of the Low Net competition: Also, Kudos to the Aegis team for winning the team competition with 3 points to 2 points to the Non-Aegis team. The hole scores are now color coded based on relation to par (birdie, par, bogie, etc.). I also now use up (↑) and down (↓) arrows to mark holes as won or lost. Play for week 7 had started and 2 groups finished at least 1 hole and then the heavens opened up. Go Figure! :-( Kudos to Paul Hessler for a birdie on the first hole under the conditions. Unfortunately, it doesn't count. So all matches for week 7 were postponed and will be rescheduled for next Monday, 9/22. If you are unable to play next Monday, please email or call Dick DiTullio (856-252-2949) by Wednesday morning.
For those who
decided not to show, you are wimps, but smart wimps. For those of us who tried to play,
we are brave, stupid wet souls. See you all next week and let’s hope Isabel doesn't force
us to use rowboats to get around the course!

we got bumped from Ramblewood on
Monday, 9/8. We'll be back to play on Monday, 9/15.

And a Special Commendation goes to Dave Shinn, who hit his first tee shot on Blue 1 into a trash can (I also heard woods). Then he re-teed and put the next shot into the hole for a Par! Go Figure!

Seemed to be something in the air this Monday. I guess there was some
pent up great play just waiting to get out. We seemed to have had a
record number of birdies scored by league members tonight. Group 1 had 5 alone,
and there were 9 birdies overall. Here is a list of the golfers who
pulled off at least 1 tonight. Congratulations to all!

Message from the Scheduler! Hi, Monday, 7/7/03 is a CSC GOLF League Holiday.
We have proposed a road trip to White Oaks Country Club for all those
who may be interested. We are shooting for a 10:00 AM tee time. The
price is $32.00 for age 55+ for greens fee, cart, hot dog & soda. The
regular price is $45.00 for greens fee and cart. Paul Hummel (262-9017
phummel3@comcast.net) is coordinating
this event. You can express your interest to me until Thursday;
thereafter to Paul directly. So far we have 2 groups.
Congrats to FUN_NITE_I scramble winners: Paul Hummel, Jerry Russell,
John_D, and DD; the putting contest winners Adrian Olearchyk and

shifting in group 5. Group 7 gets a new player and is now group 6. And

The schedule for the final week of the first half is available. Other News: A CSC Golf League Champions Tour event is proposed for 7/7/03 mid-morning at White Oaks Country Club. The participating seniors will be charged $32.00 for greens fee, cart, hotdog and soda. Youngsters will be charged $45.00 and have to buy their own lunch. Come take your game on the road. We can only get tee times 7 days in advance so we would like to know 7 days in advance who will play. Fun, prizes, pride!!!
