The Results, Standings and Low Net pages for week 7 of the first half have been posted. The standings continue to list the max points that each player can aquire if they win 6 points in the last week. The low score of the 2 highlighted is already thrown out of your total and the other score will be thrown out after next week. The handicap list showing each golfers next handicaps are available sorted by either handicap or by name.
Check out the
Golfer List page. This page lists all the
rounds played by each player in the league, including the entire 2nd half
of last year. You can track your progress or lack thereof.
The schedule for week 7 of the first half has been posted.
I have posted a tentative schedule for the second half of the
season. (below left) The league plans to take off either June 30th or July 7th.
Whichever date we don't take off will be the start of the second half. The
Monday that we do take off, I believe the course should still be availble
to play at the League rates to anyone who is interested.

Welcome back from a grey, wet, dreary holiday weekend. :-( Hopefully, the dawn of a new month will bring warmer temperatures, clear skies and plenty of sunshine. If not, we still have our rain gear that we all have given a good workout so far this season. The schedule for week 6 has been posted. As Dick Ditullio mentioned, we count your best 6 weeks out of the 8 that we play in each half.
Also, the Results and
Standings for week 5 have been updated to
correct the points gained by group #7, which was omitted previously.

Note: The CSC Golf League will not be playing next Monday, Memorial Day.

Kudos to the brave souls who braved the weather for the second week in a
row! The weather actually got better as the evening went along and gave
a couple of us the opportunity to complete 18 holes. (me included) Hopefully
we will get a nice 78 degree, sunny afternoon next week. ;-)

The schedule for week 3 of the first half is available. This week's schedule was generated from the standings list. All subsequent scheduling for the first half will also be in this knock-down format. The scheduler may make some modifications based on competitive or availability issues.
Note: Some of the handicaps on the schedule for week 3 have been updated because of a
slight error that I found in using the gross score for computing handicaps
indexes instead of the Adjusted gross score. This has been corrected on all
pages from week 2 and will be correct from now on. Please check the handicap
pages (sorted by either handicap or by
name) for your handicap index and course
handicap for week 3.

Click here for the handicap calculator. Just enter your handicap index and select your gender and click the Compute button. It will compute your course handicap for each Nine.
Also, I
updated Marty Wible's handicap on the schedule. His handicap index should be 12.0,
which would translate into a course handicap of 14 on the Red and Blue courses and
13 on the white. Enjoy!
The Low Net page for week 1 has been updated to show your course handicap that is used to calculate your net score.
I will also be posting a course handicap calculator page tomorrow that you can use to
figure out your course handicap for each nine. You will enter your handicap index and it
will list your course handicap for each nine at Ramblewood CC.
Until it is posted, you can get your course handicap by looking at the
handicap pages (sorted by
handicap or by name) to
see your course handicap for each nine.
The schedule for week 2 of the the first half has been posted.
The handicap included on the schedule is your handicap index. The handicap index is
independent of any course, it is similar to a USGA handicap Index. You need to look up on the handicap sheets
(sorted by handicap or by name)
based on which nine you play
to figure out what your Course Handicap will be for Monday. That will
be the handicap that you put on your score card.

Yes there is a problem. We have 11 groups and 10 tee times starting at 4:00 PM.
The solution is for 1 group to go early if that tee time is still open and go
later at 5:52 is that tee time is still open.
