She also mentioned that there are no outings this afternoon, so we should be starting on time. Please make sure you take the time to re-read the Pace of Play document. We would like for everyone out there to have fun and that includes finishing your round in a timely fashion. I know that part of the delay last week was waiting for the outing to finish teeing off. But there are still many players who are not playing ready golf. I have bolded the items on the list that cause the most delays with the golf league. If everyone helps out and follows the guidelines, we should be done our rounds in 2 hours to 2:15. We should not be playing 2:30 to 3 hour 9 hole rounds.

1st half champ John Dworniczak. Kudos to the iron men of the CSC Golf League.
Hopefully everyone remembers how to get to Ramblewood next Monday! Its been
a while since the rest of us have played there. ;-)

They shot 34 scratch, which ended up being 28 Net to win the Fun Nite by 1 shot.
It looks like the handicaps worked out pretty good. There
were only 3 strokes that separated the first place from 6th place.
The schedule for Fun Nite 1 has been updated and posted to the webpage. This prestigious event will take place at Ramblewood CC on Monday, June 13th.
NOTE: I believe this is the earliest of the year that we have finished
both the 1st half and scheduled fun nite 1 since I joined the league
late last century. (1998 to be exact) I think this is a record. Stay cool
and see you all Monday!
John pulled out the title by shooting a 45 for a net 36. He halved the match with Gerry Mahon, but his net 36 was 1 shot better than Angelo Cornell to win Low Net for the group and gain the 4.5 points he needed to edge out Gerry for the title. If Gerry had shot one shot less, (maybe a 6 instead of a 7 on last hole) he would have tied John at 30.5 points. Also, if Angelo had shot one stroke less, he would have tied John for Low Net and won the first half by 0.5 points. Amazing how the championship was decided by 1 stroke!
FUN_NITE_1, the 4-player 9 hole scramble, is "penciled in" for Monday, June 13, 2005. Please let me know if you plan to participate and make playing partner suggestions, if you wish. Send email to Dick DiTullio.

Message from the President! (Friday, March 11, 2005)
Hi, I have been gratified to hear from all of you recently. Especially the return of Blair Rothermel, Frank McHugh & Phil Ingling. Even though Glenn Booker has left CSC and Dave Davis has retired , they have not left the CSC Golf League. The CSC Golf League for 2005 starts play on Monday, April 11 (just a month away). Membership Dues ($25.00) are due on Monday, April 4, 2005. Cash or check made out to "the CSC Golf League" are acceptable. Non-CSC members can arrange to pay on the first night. For all golfers who wish to participate in the CSCGL05, I will need positive feedback including full telephone number, i.e., 856-424-3963, address if appropriate, and dues or dues arrangement details. Click here for more info concerning the golf league.
If you know a CSC person who wants to participate, please forward that info. I have already started to receive requests for pairings for the first 2 weeks. Hurry, hurry, don't get shut out.
Dick D. Message from the President!
Hi! The 2005 CSC Golf League will start on Monday, April 11, at Ramblewood. Dues will be $25.00. The golf course will charge $20.00 for greens fee and cart. The golf course has allocated us 10 tee times starting at 4 PM. So we have room for 40 dedicated golfers. Please let me know if you are still interested in playing in the league and you may propose new golfers for membership.
Thanks
