2004 Yamaha Roadstar Warrior
I was 40 years old. I had owned dozens of motorcycles since I was about 15. THIS was the first true street bike I ever owned. I got tired of wanting 'more' out of the DRZ400. I got tired of pushing it to get to 60 MPH. I got tired of not being able to ride the 45 miles up to visit my friends and family in Gig Harbor due to excessive vibratiion, and poor highway manors.
I bought a dorky German WW2 style helmet to go with it.
Yep.
THEN I got tired of not being able to randomly follow every new trail or dirt road I passed...
...and I sold this brute to get the '06 Husqvarna TE510.
Do I miss it? Yeah, a little. I'll never be a streetbike guy. But I will own another streetbike.
Just so long as I also have plenty of dirt bikes!
